Softball Recap: Rockwood Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Rockwood was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell 6-2 to the Windber Ramblers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ramblers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-6 back in March.

Kalynne Ohler was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Rockwood's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Windber, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Rockwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Berlin Brothersvalley on the 28th. As for Windber, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-2 victory against Conemaugh Township on the 28th.
