With most teams starting games, teams move in and out of regional rankings.

With most states underway, the regional high school football rankings are starting to take shape across the country.

Texas continued its dominance in the Southwest rankings with 18 teams, while Washington, D.C.'s Gonzaga made a huge jump into the top five in the South region after an opening night victory.

South Fayette (McDonald, Pa.) was also a huge climber in this week's Northeast rankings, moving from No. 9 to No. 5.
