Football Recap: Lane Tech Champions vs. Guilford Vikings
Lane Tech and Guilford squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lane Tech had to settle for second. They took a hard 20-6 fall against the Guilford Vikings. The Champions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Alaina Valmassei threw for 191 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 33 yards.

Aishah Smith looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Zariah Burnett made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
