Northwest Christian School had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 18-9 margin over the Chewelah Cougars. 18 seems to be a good number for the Crusaders as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Northwest Christian School's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Chewelah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northwest Christian School will square off against rival Davenport at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chewelah is set to face off against their familiar foe Newport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
