League recap: Piedra Vista moves into state Top 25

Piedra Vista was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Santa Fe. The Panthers came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.

Piedra Vista took down the Demons 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Aztec's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Marcus Crawford threw for 494 and 7 touchdowns and Josh Harris had 326 yards receiving. On the ground Ryneal Lewis-Adams chipped in 114 yards. Lewis-Adams helped Aztec's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 66 yards.

Jared Howell's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 49 points on Santa Fe.
