Basketball Recap: Lagrange's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

LaGrange made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Midland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Gators fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 46-44 on Wednesday. The loss was the Gators' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, LaGrange fell to 3-1. As for Midland, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, LaGrange will challenge Merryville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Gators will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Midland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 78-76 win against Simpson on the 26th.
