Football Recap: Elliot Hamilton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Social Circle over KIPP Atlanta Collegiate + How To Watch

If Social Circle was riding high fresh off their 35-8 takedown of Warren County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redskins fell just short of the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors by a score of 34-31 on Thursday. The Redskins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Social Circle lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Elliot Hamilton, who picked up 154 receiving yards and one score. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception. Another player making a difference was Remi Farmer, who threw for 230 yards and a pair of TDs.

Christopher Wilson had a dynamite game For KIPP Atlanta Collegiate., rushing for 258 yards while picking up 16.1 yards per carry. Those 258 rushing yards gave Wilson a new career-high. Lawrence Moreland also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Having lost for the first time this season, Social Circle fell to 2-1. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Social Circle will welcome Whitefield Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 5th. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they will head out on the road to face off against Tri-Cities at 7:30 p.m. on the 5th.
