Basketball Recap: Birch Run Comes Up Short

Birch Run lost against Lakeville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Birch Run Panthers took a 40-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeville Falcons. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Birch Run's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lakeville, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Birch Run will head out to face off against New Lothrop at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Lothrop's defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so Birch Run's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lakeville, they will be home for the holidays to greet Durand at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
