Softball Recap: Wallington Comes Up Short

Wallington fell victim to Morris Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Crusaders. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wallington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Morris Catholic, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wallington will venture away from home to take on Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Boilermakers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Morris Catholic, they will take on Bayonne at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
