Soccer Recap: Crested Butte's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four contests, Crested Butte finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Durango Demons by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Crested Butte of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
