Carver strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Harris County, posting a 63-0 victory. This was payback for Carver, who suffered a 15-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Carver got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zach Watts out in front who rushed for 123 yards and two TDs on only six carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelston Tarver, who rushed for 109 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Carver proved: they limited Harris County to a paltry 0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Makevious Yancie for the heroic effort on defense: he. Carver didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 15.3.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Carver, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Watts, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
