St. Pius X is a perfect 10-0 against Grants since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sartans will be playing at home against the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. St. Pius X will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, St. Pius X got the win against Belen by a conclusive 3-0.

St. Pius X not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Belen between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Grants came up short against Valencia on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Pirates have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Grants started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-14.

Grants' defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for St. Pius X, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

St. Pius X took their victory against Grants in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Sartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
