Soccer Game Preview: Triton vs. Western Alamance

The Triton Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Western Alamance Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Triton and Southern Lee have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Cavaliers. One thing that didn't help Triton's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Payton Stocks.

Meanwhile, Western Alamance put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Southern Alamance a 4-0 shutout. Western Alamance might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Southern Alamance with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kayley Lee (2), Emma Gryniewski, and Cana Kaffenberger.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Western Alamance, they pushed their record up to 18-0-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
