It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Buckeye Trail ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers 11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Buckeye Trail's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Strasburg-Franklin, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckeye Trail will welcome Ridgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Indian Valley at 5:00 p.m.
