No. 1 Argyle looks to stay perfect, win Texas title.

Video: Top 5 Wild Plays of the Year
These plays definitely have the 'Wow' factor going for them.

The final No. 1 ranking in the nation will come down to the Texas Class 4A state tournament where undefeated and current No. 1 Argyle will compete this week.

The Eagles took over the top spot last week, moving ahead of Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) because it is undefeated and it is participating in a postseason tournament. Neither No. 2 Montverde Academy nor No. 3 Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Md.) played in a state playoff tournament this year since they are independent.

That does not mean that Montverde Academy can't finish the season No. 1. Should Argyle lose in the semifinals or finals, look for Montverde Academy to move into the top spot since the next 11 teams below it have already completed their seasons.

Argyle meets Jasper in one semifinal matchup and could meet either Sweeny or Godley in the championship game. All games at the Texas state tournament are single elimination.
