Basketball Recap: Greensburg Salem Comes Up Short

Greensburg Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 87-55 loss at the hands of the Elizabeth Forward Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Golden Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while the Warriors are ranked 116th).

Greensburg Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Elizabeth Forward, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.
