Lewis Made His Presence Known in Ontario Christian's 28-21 Victory
Starting off the list is Ontario Christian's Zander Lewis, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Capistrano Valley Christian was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Joshua Monroe did his best to prevent it. Monroe turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
Capistrano Valley Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. Monroe will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Ontario Christian on Friday.

Champ Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Champ Brown put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102) per game. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.
The win (which was Aquinas's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Brown and Aquinas will be playing at home against Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
