Volleyball Recap: Johnston Comes Up Short at Home Against Classical + How To Watch

Johnston unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Classical Purple on Friday, falling 3-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Purple recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Angelina Pham, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Classical now has a winning record of 3-2.

Johnston will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Scituate at 6:15 p.m. on October 9. As for Classical, they will face off against Juanita Sanchez Complex at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
