If Colton was riding high fresh off their 61-0 takedown of Jurupa Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eisenhower Eagles on Friday. The Yellowjackets gained 52 more yards on the day, but it was the Eagles that made the best use of them.

Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Koa Regalado, who threw for 149 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 60 yards on only six carries. Kalvin Leon was another key pass catcher, picking up 99 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The critical scores for Eisenhower came from Isaiah Rogers, Raydynn Togagae, and Kaden Bryant.

Colton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Eisenhower, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
