Volleyball Recap: Torres Finds Playoff Glory Versus Morro Bay

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Torres had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Morro Bay Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Toros also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Torres is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-25 record this season. As for Morro Bay, they dropped their record down to 15-27 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

After both having extra time off, Torres and Orcutt Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. The Spartans will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Toros surely won't give up without a fight. Morro Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
