Basketball Recap: Woodberry Forest Starts Season with Win Against Lynchburg Homeschool

Woodberry Forest took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They breezed by the Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots to the tune of 90-42. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Despite the loss, Lynchburg HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Josiah Jantomaso, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Carson Hill, who had eight points.

Lynchburg HomeSchool dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Woodberry Forest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 91-57 win against Rise Academy on the 7th. Lynchburg HomeSchool has also already played their next game, a 58-36 defeat against The Covenant on the 7th.
