Soccer Recap: Abington Starts Season with Victory Against La Salle College

Abington had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the La Salle College Explorers a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. For Abington, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 victory La Salle College walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

La Salle College's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abington will square off against Haverford at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for La Salle College, they will take on Seneca Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.
