Baseball Recap: Saguaro Sabercats vs. Sunrise Mountain Mustangs

After losing to Sunrise Mountain the last time they met, Saguaro decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saguaro Sabercats walked away with a 5-1 win over the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs on Wednesday.

Dario LoBianco spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kasen Williams was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Zander Bratspis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
