Baseball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Robinson's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Maroons were not able to get on the board.

Robinson dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Teutopolis, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robinson will face off against South Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Maroons are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Teutopolis, they will square off against Dieterich at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wooden Shoes will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Movin Maroons will have lost five straight heading into Thursday's game.
