Recap: Baldwin Braves vs. Perry Panthers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Baldwin Braves gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 82-56 margin over Perry. The victory was familiar territory for Baldwin who now have three in a row.
Isaiah Dennis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Tremarius Lawrence was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Baldwin is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. As for Perry, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Baldwin will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Perry won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Westside at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Westside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Perry in Georgia (Westside is ranked 177th, while Perry is ranked 394th).
