Football Recap: Riverview Gardens Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Riverview Gardens's offense. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jennings Warriors on Saturday. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Riverview Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Jennings, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Riverview Gardens is set to challenge their familiar foe Clayton/Brentwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jennings will face off against rival University City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 6.5, the Lions 9.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
