Football Game Preview: Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers vs. Corn Bible Academy Crusaders

The Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View-Gotebo will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Mountain View-Gotebo is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Tipton, who was ranked 21st at the time (Mountain View-Gotebo was ranked 15th). Mountain View-Gotebo came out on top against Tipton by a score of 18-6 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Corn Bible Academy fell victim to Ryan and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Cowboys 56-0. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Cowboys: they've now lost four in a row.

Corn Bible Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Mountain View-Gotebo didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Corn Bible Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 40-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
