Soccer Recap: Chilton County Takes a Loss

Chilton County managed to slip by Calera the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chilton County Tigers lost 4-0 to the Calera Eagles on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chilton County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Calera and bumps their season record up to 7-3-1.

Chilton County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Benjamin Russell at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Calera, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Homewood on the 19th.
