Basketball Recap: Camas Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Camas can now relate to. They fell just short of the Glacier Peak Grizzlies by a score of 44-42 on Thursday. The match was a 17-17 toss-up at halftime, but the Papermakers couldn't quite close it out.

Camas has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-6 record this season. Glacier Peak pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Camas will head out to face off against Eastlake at 12:00 p.m. on March 15th. Camas will be up against Eastlake's rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.55 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Glacier Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
