Recap: North Dorchester Eagles vs. Seaford Bluejays
This season hasn't been kind to the North Dorchester Eagles, who are still winless after their fifth matchup. They were the victim of a rough 70-47 loss at the hands of Seaford on Monday. North Dorchester has struggled against Seaford recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Kashmier Wise had an outrageously good game for Seaford as he shot 5-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Wise's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Smith, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
North Dorchester's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Seaford, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
North Dorchester will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kent County at 5:30 p.m. on January 11, 2024. Seaford won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Laurel at 5:45 p.m. on December 19th. Laurel has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 268 points over their last four matches.
