After flying high against Lake Havasu on Thursday, Centennial came back down to earth. The Coyotes fell 3-1 to the Ironwood Eagles on Monday. The Coyotes' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 23-25, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Centennial lost, don't look at Kate Federico. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and five assists.

Ironwood found their leader in freshman Kalia Soza, who had 12 digs.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Ironwood, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11.
