Baseball Game Preview: Brooklyn Hurricanes vs. Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves

For the second straight game, Brooklyn will face off against Cuyahoga Heights. The Hurricanes will head out on the road to square off against the Red Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brooklyn has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight defeats, while Cuyahoga Heights will come in with three straight wins.

On Wednesday, Brooklyn came up short against Cuyahoga Heights and fell 6-2.

Collin Flanagan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on five hits.

At the plate, Aiden Starr was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Brooklyn is 2-1 when Starr posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-10 otherwise. Phil Banaszak also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Cuyahoga Heights' victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Brooklyn, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
