Football Recap: Pendleton Falls to Chesnee in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Pendleton had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost to the Chesnee Eagles on the road by a 35-21 margin. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Pendleton still got an impressive performance from Jackson Allmon, who threw for 78 yards and three TDs.

Evan-reece Lawter Gunner was nothing short of spectacular for Chesnee: he rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns.

Pendleton has already played their next matchup, a 19-0 win against Keenan on the 29th. As for Chesnee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-34 defeat against Broome on the 29th.
