Basketball Recap: Moravia Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mormon Trail

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moravia). They blew past the Mormon Trail Saints 73-51 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Mohawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Moravia has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Mormon Trail, they moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Moravia will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Montezuma at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Mormon Trail also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Martensdale-St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
