Soccer Recap: Denbigh Comes Up Short

Denbigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Menchville Monarchs, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Denbigh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Menchville are ranked sixth).

Denbigh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Menchville, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Coming up, Denbigh will square off against Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Menchville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
