Softball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel managed to slip by Warren Township the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Corsairs lost 14-5 to the Blue Devils on Thursday.

Carmel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Cameron, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another was Kaitlyn Konen, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Warren Township, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Carmel nor Warren Township have any future games scheduled.
