Baseball Recap: Hart County Takes a Loss

Hart County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Green County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Raiders fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost three in a row.

Zach Sloan and Austin Martin stepped up to the plate in a big way. Sloan went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Martin went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Hart County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16-1. As for Green County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Hart County will face off against Washington County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Green County, they will square off against Thomas Nelson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
