Baseball Recap: Broome Centurions vs. Chesnee Eagles
Broome fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Chesnee on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Chesnee Eagles by a score of 7-6. The Centurions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Dylan Ramirez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

As for Chesnee, they will head out to take on Brashier Middle College Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Brashier Middle College Charter has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.4 runs per game on average), something Chesnee will no doubt try to take advantage of.
