Volleyball Recap: Mill Creek Comes Up Short

Mill Creek lost against Norcross back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19.

Norcross got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dakota Washington out in front who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Washington has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Grayson Taylor, who had 12 digs.

Mill Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Norcross, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mill Creek will venture away from home to face off against Hebron Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norcross, they will challenge Etowah on Saturday.
