Nacogdoches is a perfect 6-0 against Marshall since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Nacogdoches Dragons will challenge the Marshall Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Nacogdoches will head out to face Marshall after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Nacogdoches fell just short of Mt. Pleasant by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Whitehouse, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 617th, while the Wildcats are ranked 87th).

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Nacogdoches, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-3.

Everything went Nacogdoches' way against Marshall in their previous matchup back in January, as Nacogdoches made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nacogdoches since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
