Baseball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

Bedford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lenox Tigers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lenox, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Bedford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against CAM on the 10th. As for Lenox, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-16 victory against East Union on the 10th.
