Basketball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 47-36 to the Stearns Minutemen. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-23 back in December of 2024.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Stearns, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Greenville will be playing at home against Schenck at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stearns, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Katahdin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stearns is facing Katahdin at the right time seeing as Katahdin is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
