Volleyball Recap: Dublin Coffman Takes a Loss

Dublin Coffman lost against Olentangy Orange on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Shamrocks came up short against the Pioneers, falling 3-0. The Shamrocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Dublin Coffman was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Olentangy Orange work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 26-24, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Dublin Coffman still got an impressive performance from Milena Brennan, who had 16 digs and three assists.

Among those leading the charge was Chloe Moore, who had five digs and three aces.

Dublin Coffman's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Olentangy Orange, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dublin Coffman will host Hilliard Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olentangy Orange, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Upper Arlington at 7:00 p.m. The last three games the Golden Bears have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
