Volleyball Recap: Gregory-Portland Falls to Tuloso-Midway in First Game of Season

Gregory-Portland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees on Tuesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors & Cherokees apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

While Tuloso-Midway got the win, Gregory-Portland sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 26-24, 26-24.

Coming up, Gregory-Portland will be taking part in a tournament against Rio Grande City at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuloso-Midway, they will challenge Canton at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
