Marion County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ashton Richards, who rushed for 73 yards and one score on only five carries. Those 73 rushing yards gave Richards a new career-high. Marion County also got a significant boost from Mason Mays, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 104 yards.

Marion County's record is now 6-1. As for Bledsoe County, they moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
