Volleyball Recap: Malden Takes a Loss

Malden lost against Portageville back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Green Wave took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 22-25, 25-19.

Malden's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-3-2. As for Portageville, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Malden will venture away from home to challenge Clarkton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Portageville, they will challenge South Pemiscot at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
