Soccer Recap: Warrenton Comes Up Short

Warrenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Winfield, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that Warrenton has lost by exactly three goals.

Warrenton's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Winfield, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warrenton will venture away from home to take on St. Charles West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Charles West will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Warrenton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Winfield, they are taking a road trip to square off against Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
