Football Recap: Miles Guidry's Menacing Defense Leads West Seattle over Bishop Blanchet

West Seattle hadn't done well against Bishop Blanchet recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. West Seattle took down Bishop Blanchet 31-17. This was payback for West Seattle, who suffered a 30-16 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Desmond Parkinson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 268 yards and three touchdowns. West Seattle's leading receiver LJ Moody was Parkinson's top target yet again, picking up 90 receiving yards and one score.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to West Seattle's defense and their four sacks. Bishop Blanchet's QB won't forget Miles Guidry anytime soon given he sacked him 2.5 times. West Seattle received some extra help from Esayas Brigham, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
