Volleyball Recap: Northfield Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Northfield had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Century Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-16.

Century's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Emma Greene, who had 12 digs and two assists, and Ryn Johnson, who had seven digs. Greene is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Northfield's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Century, their record is now 7-6.

Northfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Lakeville North on the 19th. As for Century, they will welcome Albert Lea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
