Softball Game Preview: Eau Claire North Huskies vs. Menomonie Mustangs

For the second straight game, Eau Claire North will face off against Menomonie. The Huskies will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Eau Claire North is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Eau Claire North came up short against Menomonie and fell 7-4.

Eau Claire North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Fuerst, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Abbi Kosterman also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Eau Claire North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Menomonie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
